The first transnational meeting on the project “International translation passport: developing effective functionalities for translation of different text types” was held at the Institute of Slavic Studies of Heidelberg University in the period 26-29 November 2018. The meeting was attended by all partners from the participating organizations: Association “Initiatives for Youth and Academic Development”, Master Program “Translator-Editor” at Sofia University, Charles University in Prague and Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. Activities within the first 6 months of the project were discussed in details. A common algorithm was developed for 3 of the courses: Reception of Bulgarian Literature in Germany, the Czech Republic and Italy. The other three courses, directly related to the education of the future students at the Master Program “Translator-Editor”, the needs of the Bulgarian students at the partner universities, as well as the content of the site, the e-magazine and the translation forum, were also discussed.
